International Education Week 2023

Join us as we celebrate International Education Week

The College of Wooster celebrates International Education Week (IEW) from November 6-11, culminating in the Culture Show on Saturday, November 11. This week provides many opportunities to explore the various cultures that our global community has to offer. International Education Week celebrates the benefits of international education and the exchanging of cultures worldwide.

What’s Cool About Your Culture?
Write what you appreciate about your home country – or a country you have visited – and tape the cut-out around the map, creating a display with some wonderful words about cultures represented at Wooster from around the world. A small gift will be given for those who fill out a globe during business hours.

International Student Services Open House
Create your own decadent hot chocolate at a hot chocolate bar, enter to win awesome prizes, and say hello to the ISS staff.

Panel on Internships for International Students
Learn about internships as an international student and get all your questions answered by a panel of experts.

International Snack Night
Enjoy snacks from around the world including some of our international students’ favorites from home.

Global Connections – Mapping Our Diverse World
International students are invited to place a pin on a large map to indicate where they are from and include a small note about what they love about their home culture.

International Paint and Sip Night
Sip some international sodas while painting your own customized international Scottie dog under the guidance of an instructor. Space is limited; first come, first serve.
