Welcome to Wooster, Class of 2017!
We want to make your transition to The College of Wooster and college life as smooth as possible. We will provide you with the essential academic and practical information you will need as you prepare for your first year at Wooster.
Important First Steps
Please use this checklist to find and complete the required forms to ensure a smooth transition to Academic and Student Life at the College. These forms are required by June 1st!
Summer ARCH
(Academic Registration and Creative Horizons)
While you are on campus in June, you will meet with faculty and staff who will help you begin to construct an academic plan, select and register for classes for the Fall Semester. Parents are invited to attend and become more familiar with the goals of a Wooster education, learn about campus resources, and meet with faculty and staff advisers.

New Student Orientation
- Wednesday, August 21st: New Student Orientation begins with MOOVE-IN. MOOVE-IN provides you with an opportunity to move into your residence hall or small program house.
- Thursday, August 22nd - Sunday, August 25th: You will participate in a series of academic and co-curricular programs designed especially for you.
We hope that your parents will participate in the special programs planned for them on Thursday, August 22. For travel purposes, please note that parents’ sessions will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
