Spring Break

Detailed information regarding Spring Break can be found in the Spring Break Newsletter (.pdf).

If you are planning on staying on campus during any part of Spring Break, you must complete the Spring Break Request to Stay Form. This form must be completed by February 28, at 5 p.m. Applications completed after this date may be assessed a late charge.

For the convenience of those students who must remain on campus during all or part of the break the following buildings will remain open:

  • All Residence Halls
  • Rubbermaid
  • Culbertson & Slater
  • Miller Manor
  • ISHO's

If you normally live in one of these buildings and must remain on campus for the break or any portion of it, you may remain in your own room.

ALL Campus Houses will be CLOSED during Spring Break. If you do not live in one of the open buildings, you will need to make the following arrangements:

  • Locate a temporary housing assignment located in one of the open buildings.
  • Students must find a temporary space that is currently assigned to their respective gender.
  • Have all residents of the arranged temporary assignment complete the Spring Break Housing Form.

If paying a nightly fee your student account will be charged $15.00 per night/$7.00 per night (students with international address). If you are staying 7 consecutive nights, there is a discounted rate of $90.00 for the week/$42.00 for the week(students with international address).

All COW Cards will be deactivated on March 7 at 6 p.m. Students staying over break will need to visit Keys & ID's to have their COW Card encoded for their Spring Break Assignment starting March 5 at 9 a.m.

All Students must visit Keys & ID's when returning to campus to have their COW Card re-encoded.
