I am an alum of the University of Memphis where I earned a B.S. in Education and M.S. in Leadership and Policy Study. I completed doctoral level course work at the University of Louisville before moving to Wooster in 2006. I have been a Student Affairs professional for nearly 20 years working at public universities in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana and private colleges in Kentucky and Ohio.
I have a passion for the work I do and find great fulfillment in working with my students. I am known for my enthusiasm and enjoy creating opportunities for students to connect outside of the classroom. We have offered such diverse and unusual programs, such as Skotoberfest, a wooden Homecoming Cow Decorating Contest, a Harry Potter Dinner, Chinese New Year Celebration and Clean Sweep Programs.
I am also an involved Wooster community member. I live near campus with my husband, Tim, and our two small children, Maddie and Evan. We love living in Wooster and take advantage of community activities such as the downtown festivals and Farmer's Market. You can often find us at The Guerne drive-in, which is known for its ice cream and milkshakes, or enjoying one of the many Wooster parks and pools. I know you will also find a wonderful home here and I look forward to meeting you.
