Instructional Technology is one of the four divisions of Information Technology. The department was oficially created in 2005 and before that time had existed as Academic Computing with a wide range of responsibilities. Currently the department is responsible for helping faculty and students incorporate technology into the learning process. The department also explores and evaluates emerging technologies for pedagogical value.
