Jon Breitenbucher, PhD
is an Adjunct Professor and Instructional Technology Specialist here at The College of Wooster. He graduated from Wooster with a BA and obtained his MS and PhD from The Ohio State University. His dissertation was on an extension of one of Ramanujan's identities to multiple basic hypergeometric series. After returning to Wooster in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, he transitioned to a split position where he teaches one class a semester and works in Instructional Technology the remaining time. His teaching interests include Combinatorics and Graph Theory and Cryptography. His Instructional Technology interests include emerging technologies such as AJAX, blogging, Skype, Massively Multi-player On-line Games, and podcasting. His most recent publication is "LaTeX at a liberal arts college". He is also in charge of the College's Course Management System. You can find him in Taylor 310 on most afternoons.
