Installing Maple 11 for Windows

Follow these instructions to install Maple 11 for Windows for use on the College of Wooster campus.

Introduction

The College of Wooster has a network license that allows students to install and use Maple on their personal computers while at the College, or while connected to the College over the Virtual Private Network. Follow these instructions to install the Maple 11 software.

Downloading the Software
  • Navigate to the Software Downloads section of the Wooster website located at: http://www.wooster.edu/technology/resources/software/
  • Under College-licensed Software, look for Maple 11 and find your operating system.
  • Click the download link and you will be prompted to enter your Wooster user name and password. When prompted, click the Save File button:
  • You will now have a file called “Maple11” on your desktop. Double click this file to being installing the software.
Installing Maple 11
  • You will see a progress bar that shows Windows extracting the Maple 11 silent installer.
  • Once the installer is finished extracting, you will see the following screen that completely installs Maple 11 on your computer:
  • When the installation is complete, this window will close and you will see shortcuts to Maple 11 and Maple Calculator on your desktop. You can delete the original Maple 11 installer file at this point.
