Overview
This document explains how to install and configure KeyServer on Macintosh computers running Mac OS X.

Introduction
|
In order use much of the software provided by the College of Wooster, it is necessary to install the KeyServer Client. This documentation is designed to guide users on campus through these steps in the most convenient way possible.

Downloading the Keyserver Client
|
- Navigate to http://www.wooster.edu/technology/resources/software/ and choose the KeyServer Client for MacOS X. (IF you have a LAPTOP, you need to download the KeyServer Client for laptops).
- When you click on the type of system you have, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password.
- Once you enter your information, a file named "K2Client.mpkg" will be downloaded to your desktop. It should look like this:

Installing the Keyserver Client
|
- Double Click on the K2Client.mpkg file and it will launch the KeyServer Client installer.
- Click continue, select your hard drive, and click continue again.
- Click the Install button and the installer will ask you for your computer password. This is NOT your email password; this is the password you use to log into your computer.

- After installing the software, it will prompt you to restart your computer.

Clean-up
|
- You may now delete all of the files that you have downloaded to your desktop.
