Overview
This document explains how to install the KeyServer Client on a Windows computer.

Introduction
|
In order use a some of the applications provided by the College of Wooster, it is necessary to install the KeyServer Client. This documentation is designed to guide users on campus through these steps in the most convenient way possible.

Downloading the KeyServer Client
|
- If you have not already installed the latest KeyServer Client, navigate to http://www.wooster.edu/technology/resources/software/ and choose the appropriate KeyServer Client for your version of Windows. (IF you have a LAPTOP, you need to download the KeyServer Client for laptops).
- When you click on the type of system you have, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password.
- Once you enter your information, you will be asked what you want to do with the file. Choose save and save the file to the desktop. It should look something like this:

Installing the Keyserver Client
|
- Double Click on the icon. It will launch the KeyServer Client installer.
- Please click "Next" through the next two screens and then "Install." Please wait while it installs and then click "Finish."

- Once you have finished installing the software you will need to reboot your computer. You can click "Yes" and restart your computer immediately, or you may click "No," save what you are working on and restart later.

Clean Up
|
- You may now delete all of the files that you have downloaded to your desktop.
