Computing Resources: Software Request Form

All software purchases are centralized through the Office of Information Technology. This web form is available for faculty and staff to request the purchase of software through this centralized budget. The Office of Information Technology is also available to assist with the purchase of software using grant funds. These requests can be submitted through this web form. Questions regarding software purchase should be directed to Mary Schantz (mschantz@wooster.edu), Manager of User Services.

The College of Wooster currently owns the following software available for campus-wide use:

  • Cambridge Structural Database (site license, faculty & staff only)
  • Canvas X (faculty & staff only)
  • ChemDraw (site license, faculty & staff only)
  • Dreamweaver 8 (faculty & staff only)

  • Filemaker Pro 8.5 (faculty & staff only)
  • Finale (site license, faculty & staff only)
  • Gaussian (Windows only, site license, faculty & staff only)
  • GausView (Windows only, site license, faculty & staff only)
  • Maple 11 (site license)
  • Mathematica 6 (site license)
  • Microsoft Office 2003, XP (Windows; site license; faculty & staff only)
  • Microsoft Office 2004 (OS X; site license; faculty & staff only)
  • Sophos Anti-Virus (site license)
