Comedy By: Ann-Marie MacDonald Directed by: Shirley
Huston-Findley February 22-24, 2007,
8:15p.m.
Freedlander Theatre | |
| This exuberant, imaginative comedy tells of an academic who is trying to decipher an arcane text that may be the source for Shakespeare's "Othello" and "Romeoand Juliet." In an "Alice in Wonderland" kind of flip she falls into the two works and "saves" the leading ladies while mixing up everyone's identity (sexual and literary). That's when the real trouble starts. This funny, touching and incredibly smart play will have you reeling with sidesplitting laughter.
