>>Wooster's Web Site Statistics

History

The WooInfo Advisory Group and the original Webmaster, Donnell Wyche, created WooInfo during the summer of 1995. This first site was launched on August 15, 1995 and gradually evolved to include an abundance of information about the College.

By the summer of 1997, Web technology had advanced to such a degree that the original Web site did not portray The College of Wooster to its maximum effect. During this summer, the College's second Webmaster, Christopher Olszewski, along with the WooInfo Advisory Group, developed a new look and feel for the college's Web site. This new version of WooInfo was publicly unveiled on August 27, 1997, and was altered slightly on Sept. 1, 1998, when current Webmaster Peter James became Wooster's first full-time Webmaster. The home page, as well as the rest of WooInfo, has undergone consistent change since that time. The most recent and most significant changes occured in the summer of 2003, when the entire site was re-designed and re-organized to accomodate the vast of amount of information on the site. In addition, the site was moved to a new server with PHP support.
