A Student Project of the College of Wooster's IDPT 110: College Writing Tutorial

The idea of this website is simple: students can help other students to write well because they understand their audience in ways others cannot. But don't let this description fool you; this is no simple task. CWT students have conducted extensive research and reviewed numerous resources to bring you what they feel are the best options. Future CWT classes will continue to develop this site, and the results of their hard work will be here for you to see. All in all, I am impressed with the work presented here. Students have worked hard together and individually. And I think they appreciate the opportunity to write something that will positively impact others. Incoming students	Current students	IS students
This collection of sources is focused on student writers who are either in their first year of college or are preparing for it. Along with introducing students to the kinds of writing they might expect to do once they get to college, these pages also help student writers to understand what kind of thinking that writing reflects.	This segment of the site focuses on students who are already in college and may be ready to start deciding about a major. These pages include not only information of general use but also a collection of short pieces on writing in selected majors. This area also contains CWT assignments and example documents.	Even when students get to their senior or capstone courses, and maybe because they have made it that far, they need help with their writing. In the longer pieces students might write at that level, it is often difficult to get enough distance from writing to actually see it. These pages are designed to support and assist students preparing for IS, to remind them that they, too can ask for help and get it.
