ZETA CHALLENGE
The College of Wooster is currently in a major capital campaign called Independent Minds to raise $122 million by June 30, 2007. The Campaign includes a major renovation of Kauke Hall. To help the College meet its goal, the Walton Family Foundation has pledged to give $8 million if the College can raise the same amount prior to March 1, 2005. With $6.4 million pledged so far, the College is looking for support from all alumni, parents, and friends to reach the $8 million goal.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the Sisters of Zeta Phi Gamma to put our efforts together to create a substantial gift for Wooster- a gift which would be memorialized in a prominent Donor Wall of bricks outside of what will be a lower level coffee shop in Kauke. To our knowledge, no other club or section has ever done this for the College before - but we have never been shy about trying something new! In fact, if we are successful, our efforts may be highlighted in the Alumni magazine.
It is our goal to raise $25,000 for Kauke Hall. Together, we can do it!
As a result of our efforts, we will have a 12" x 12" "tombstone" brick reading

Still Seeking the High Call of Friendship
Keep in mind that this is a gift to be paid prior to June 30, 2007, so you can divide your gift over 3 tax years. This means that a $1500 gift can be paid in 3 installments of $500.
The Zeta actives on campus are excited about our efforts and have pledged to get involved. We have challenged them to raise $1000 toward our goal.
Now it's your turn to get involved. This is your call to action! Please help make a lasting gift to the College toward this tremendous project. Know that you stand together with the women of Zeta Phi Gamma who proudly march on - still seeking the high call of friendship.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
