STEM Success Initiative
The STEM Success Initiative is an inclusive community of students, staff, and faculty engaged in introductory science and mathematics courses. It was created to promote a diverse and inclusive STEM learning community integrating students, faculty, and staff to support student success. Read more about the STEM Success Initiative.
The STEM Zone is a place where any student taking introductory science and mathematics courses can visit to work in groups, work independently, and seek support from professors (who hold office hours there) and upper-level students (the STEM Zone Interns).
Location: Kittredge Dining Hall
- Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 8 – 10 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons: 2 – 4 PM
The STEM Mentor program pairs first-year and sophomore students interested in majoring in STEM with experienced STEM majors who are successful both in and out of the classroom, to help the introductory students navigate and succeed in STEM.
The STEM Success Initiative regularly hosts fun and culture-building events for students.
