We invite you and your family to enjoy a summer day with Wooster's spirited students and staff. All ages of high school students are encouraged to attend. You will enjoy a campus tour and the opportunity to learn directly from the Wooster community.

As part of the Ohio 4 Tours, Wooster's Open House provides an introduction to The College of Wooster. During the program you will hear from admissions and financial aid representatives, meet some of our students and get a tour of our beautiful campus!
Individual Campus Visit
Guided Tours, Admissions Interviews, Meet a Coach
Register for an individual visit. Enjoy a walking tour with a current student featuring a residence hall room, classroom
space, our libraries, student center, and the rec center. Admissions interviews are
available for high school juniors and seniors. Students interested in participating in a Division III sport may request to meet
with a coach (subject to availability).

Join a live virtual tour of Wooster led by two current tour guides to explore campus, ask questions and learn more about our thriving, global community.
Our 30-minute information session features a current student and admissions counselor who focus on what makes Wooster
distinctive among your college options.

This 30-minute conversation is an opportunity for you to share your interests and experiences, and allows our team to best support you through your college search and application process. Although not required for admission, the interview is a required step to be eligible for our top merit scholarship, the College Scholar Award.

Special Virtual Events
Our 45-minute visit program includes a brief introduction of Wooster followed by a lively discussion with our students (including time to answer your questions!). All ages of high school students and their family members are encouraged to attend. The event concludes with an optional virtual campus tour led by Wooster students at 8:00pm.

How We Assess Applications - Wednesday, July 14, 4:00 pm ET
For this case study session, you will be an admissions officer at a selective university - and review applications for a spot at a fictional school. Along the way, you will learn about a holistic review of a college application, how applicants stand out, and what parts of the application are most important for admission.
College Essay Workshop - Wednesday, August 4, 4:00 pm ET
One of the most-talked about pieces of a college application is the essay. This workshop will review why the essay is important, choosing a topic, and tips and tricks from admissions counselors to conquer this part of the application.
Mastering The College Search Process - Wednesday, August 11, 8:00 pm ET
How do I search for a college? What questions should I be asking? When do I visit? If these questions sound like some of yours, this is a great session to kick off (or continue!) your college search process.
