Bridget Milligan teaches photography, digital imaging, and drawing. She began her teaching career at Wooster after pursuing her M.F.A. in Photography from Indiana University where she received the Jacob K. Javits Fellowship from the United States Department of Education from 1998 to 2001. She also studied photography and painting in Cortona, Italy through the University of Georgia's studies abroad program. Her artwork explores the converging relationships between photography, communication, and storytelling. She has exhibited in group and solo shows throughout the US, including Pittsburg's Silver Eye Center for Photography, the galleries of Miami University, Kent State University, and the University of Missouri. In 2003 and again in 2007 she received Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowships. Bridget is represented by the PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.
