Assistant Director, Learning Center, APEX

I provide a range of services to students in the use of English. This includes supporting many of our international students through one-on-one tutoring, teaching ELL courses, workshops, and more. I also manage the ELL Peer Tutoring program. Beyond these, I offer seminars on topics like reading strategies, listening and note-taking skills, time management, studying, academic management, and more.
Before coming to Wooster, I taught ESL in the intensive English as a Second Language programs at Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, and Kent State University. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Religious Studies with a minor in Comparative Politics from Cleveland State University.
What I love most about Wooster is the incredible potential for creativity and dynamism that is possible because of a tight-knit community that truly believes that “the sky is the limit.”
