Jennifer Smith, mezzo-soprano, teaches voice, vocal pedagogy and class voice at The College of Wooster. She received degrees in Vocal Performance from both Utah State University and California State University, Fullerton. Jennifer has performed leading roles in The Telephone, The Old Maid and the Thief, Falstaff, Carmen, Le Nozze di Figaro and The Magic Flute. Her performance credits also include solo performances in Handel’s Messiah. Currently Jennifer performs regularly with Resonanz Opera in Mentor, Ohio. Before teaching at The College of Wooster, Jennifer taught voice and choir at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi (2016-2018) and voice at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah (2009-2016). She is a member of National Association of Teacher of Singing (NATS) and maintains a private voice studio in Solon, Ohio.
