Biography, Performance, and Research

Appointed as an adjunct at The College of Wooster in 2006.

Currently a faculty performer as Principal Bass with The Wooster Symphony, he has also worked as Principal Bass with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic and Cleveland Chamber Symphonies and as section bass with the Akron, Ashland, Canton and Toledo Symphonies.  He performs with The Ohio Light Opera, Cleveland Opera and in many other groups doing Broadway, chamber music, big band and small jazz ensembles.

He has taught string bass at The University of Mount Union and Cleveland State University, and grades 5-12 strings in the Chagrin Falls Schools. He teaches string bass, electric bass and guitar privately in his home.

He was editor-in-chief for one year of the magazine International Society of Bassists.
