Mission Statement

The Black Students Association serves as an advocate for Black students and other marginalized identities; It is our mission to continue to push for equitable resources, and ultimately, equality for all. The Black Students Association is a social, educational, and political organization that expresses and supports the perspectives of Black and other multicultural students. We are here to protect our legacy and work toward fighting injustices.

Activities

The Black Students Association holds general assembly meetings discussing notable topics like Black popular culture, issues pertaining to the Black community (whether it be locally/on campus, nationally, or internationally), and hot topics. We also host game nights and popular annual events that are a big part of the history and culture of the Black community at the College of Wooster such as, The Black to School BBQ, BSA Ball, BSA Thanksgiving, Peace & Paint, BSA Brunch, and many more.
