Online Tutoring Program

Department of Education at the College of Wooster is excited to provide a one-on-one online tutoring experience for the students in the Wooster City Schools. Student volunteers from across C.O.W. look forward to helping our community grow and to support local students, teachers, and parents. This program will be staffed by C.O.W. student volunteers and be delivered through Microsoft Teams. Tutors can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm for grades K-12 and in a wide range of subject areas.

How will the tutoring program work?

Wooster City Schools students, teachers, or parents will use an online booking system (embedded below) to schedule a 30-minute session with an online tutor. Sessions need to be scheduled 12 hours in advance. Tutors are from a range of majors and minors across campus. Once booked, the WCS student and the COW tutor will receive an email that has a link to the scheduled session that they both will click on to use at the appointed time.

How can my child participate?

Families and caregivers, please be sure to download Microsoft Teams onto the device (computer or mobile devices) your student plans to use for the session. No Microsoft account is necessary to participate. Please use the booking system below to sign up for a tutoring session:
