AP* Summer Institute (APSI)

Plus: a Full-Day AP* Coordinator Training (APC) on Thursday, June 25th, 2020
Wooster will host its twenty-fourth annual Advanced Placement* Summer Institute (APSI) in June of 2020. The Institute introduces the teaching methods and curriculum content needed by teachers of AP* courses for high school students. All workshops use both a college instructor and an experienced high school teacher for instruction.
The workshops that will be presented in this year's Institute are:
Calculus AB/BC, English Language and Composition, and United States History.
We encourage any qualifying teachers to apply for an AP* scholarship from the College
AP* Teacher Scholarships by their deadline of February 1st:

- AP* Computer Science Principles Scholarships

Registration Deadline: June 5th, 2020
To register for one of Wooster's three summer Advanced Placement* Summer Institute (APSI) workshops, submit the online registration. (No payment is required to register.) If both registration and payment are received before June 1st, you will qualify for our Early Bird rates. All APSI registrations must be received prior to June 5th, 2020, so that workshop materials can be ordered in time for the AP* Institute.
The College of Wooster is located in Wooster, Ohio, a city of 26,000, fifty-five miles southwest of Cleveland, forty miles west of Akron/Canton, and ninety miles northeast of Columbus. Located in beautiful Wayne County, Wooster is the home of several corporate headquarters, the location of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), and is twenty miles northwest of Ohio's Amish country.
Wooster is easily accessible by car. Participants considering air travel should use Cleveland-Hopkins Airport (CLE) or Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK).
