Soup & Break Program Overview
The Soup & Bread program has been a Wooster tradition and an integral part of campus life at Wooster since it began over thirty years ago.
Soup & Bread is a student run, volunteer program that allows members of the campus community to "eat simply so that others may simply eat."
In exchange for the simple soup and bread meal, Wooster Dining Services donates the money saved to fight hunger locally, nationally, and internationally.
A small percentage of the money is used to pay one student coordinator and support promotion of the program. The cost of the meal is $6.00 plus tax.
