Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication - 1-year

The Department of Communication at The College of Wooster is seeking a qualified person for a one-year visiting position to begin Fall 2018.  The successful candidate will teach courses in small group/organizational communication and in one’s area of expertise, as well as the introductory Communication Studies course and public speaking.  Research on issues of diversity or organizational culture preferred, but not required.  Individual will also be expected to direct student Independent Study research projects that are both quantitative and qualitative.  Ph.D. preferred, but ABD considered. The College of Wooster enrolls a diverse student body (20% domestic students of color and 11% international students); applicants should have experience with diverse student populations.
