International Education Week 2014

The theme for International Education Week 2014 was "Around the World in Seven Days".  Events included: the annual Flag Raising Ceremony (to officially welcome students from new countries to the Wooster community), the international Bazaar, a tea ceremony, the South Asian Dinner, and of course, the highlight of the week – the International Culture Show. View Gallery »


OISA Events 2014-2015

OISA co-hosts events throughout the entire academic year, working with students and community groups to celebrate the many diverse cultures at the College of Wooster.  This slideshow includes highlights from the annual Diwali celebration, the tea ceremony,  the South Asian Diner, the International Alumni Networking Day, as well as the Ambassadors Dinner. View Gallery »


Friends of International Students Events 2014-2015

The Friends of International Students (FIS, also known as "Host Families") support international students during their time at Wooster. Students formally meet their new families during Orientation and at events hosted by OISA, such as the FIS picnic during Family Weekend, as well as informally several times during each semester. View Gallery »

Each year we welcome new international students to Wooster. During Woo@First Glance (orientation for international students) meet their peers from all over the world, move into their residence halls, and meet representatives from key offices on campus. They meet their host families and even have dinner with the President of the College! View Gallery »
